Do NFL Teams Run Fewer Plays in International Games?

No. Teams averaged 62.2 offensive plays in 2024-25 international games against a 59.7 average in their other games — slightly MORE, not fewer — and gained +12 yards over their baseline. Exactly 12 of 24 teams came in under their usual play count: a coin flip. Whatever the London or São Paulo trip does to a team, it doesn't show up in tempo or production.
